Photos: Fans pack streets of downtown Houston for Astros’ 2022 World Series parade

Fans began lining up hours before the parade’s 12 p.m. start time. In some areas of the parade route, which ran along an almost 1.7-mile stretch of Smith Street from Preston Street to Tuam Street, fans were barbecuing, turning the event into a party.
