Philadelphia fan here, looking for a friendly discussion about an Eagles/Texans fans comparison & Steelers/Cowboys fan comparison

It seems as though we have some similarities. (I’m including the Oilers in this comparison).

I’ve noticed that many cowboys fans resent when Texans/Oilers get/got publicity. They feel the need to chime in with the “5 rings” nonsense.

There was the time when Paul Wall repped the Texans, appeared at a game, & many cowboys fans automatically took it as a diss.

They feel like the spotlight should be on them.

Many (not all) Steelers fans act the same way when publicity is given to the Eagles instead of them. Of course they chime in with “WE HAVE 6” “WE DID IT FIRST” “ we are more popular nationwide” blah,blah,blah

On a recent Pennsylvania social media article the Eagles Super Bowl was mentioned and it upset the Steelers fans they feel like their teams should be mentioned instead.

Even though we had three pre-Super Bowl championships, we related to the Oilers/Texans.

We were stuck being the largest city in the state with a smaller city with a more successful team.

We had to hear it from those fans. We loved our team and we were passionate about our team and we supported them even without Super Bowls.
