People who have recently gone to Costco, are they actively checking memberships at checkout?

I usually just use my family’s Costco card for gas but I don’t have enough in my card to go to the pump so I’m planning on buying a gc and using it at the pump. But I want to make sure if the employees are checking memberships with your DL to make sure you’re on the plan. More specific I’m going to the costco on richmond
