People at TMC Transit Center trying to sell health insurance?

After getting off the bus I was approached about two individuals about purchasing health insurance. Told them a lie that I was still on my parents and still an undergraduate but they told me to consider buying from their plan when I get off. I have had different people approach me twice. What is this about?
