Pedro Leon has 150 strikeouts in 451 AB’s

We really shouldn’t expect much from Leon. Yeah he has 21 dingers and a .792 ops but you just can’t be striking out at that rate in AAA and expect to not have 200+ strikeouts in the majors. That totally goes against the Astros culture.

Also he’s 25. He should be entering his prime years but instead he’s just giving the catcher free air conditioning.

I see him listed as a shortstop on milb.com so that’s interesting. I wonder if they want to let Pena slide to 3rd and let bregman walk after next season. Probably not though because I don’t think he’s part of the Astros future plans.

Wish we could’ve traded him instead of Clifford in the Verlander deal.

He probably has close to Siri value so I say we ship him off this offseason for an average SP.
