Just wanted to pass along some information regarding passports. I recently went to get a passport for my daughter for an out of country trip we might take for my birthday next January. To renew a passport or to register for one usually takes a normal time with no expediting of 8 to 12 weeks. It is now 14 to 18 weeks. If you spend the $60 to expedite the passport it will take 8 to 12 weeks when it is normally 4 to 6weeks.
