Parking Revenue Recovery Service (PRRS) Parking Notice

Last week when attending an event at Toyota Center I parked in a lot at the corner of Polk and Austin, referred to as “HOB Lot” on google maps. Paid $40.25 to park (which was ridiculous to start with) via their website obtained by scanning QR code on signage. Verified I entered the correct license plate, screenshot the successful transaction and also received a receipt via email. After the event was over walked back to vehicle to find the Parking Notice on my windshield (pic included) that says I didn’t pay and assessing a $92.00 parking penalty fee!

I appealed via their email, included my receipt and screenshot as proof of payment. Also called two days ago and verified my email was received. So far I have not received an acknowledgement that the penalty was being dismissed and am worried about getting towed or booted once the 30 days is up. I don’t trust them.

Saw a few other vehicles that looked to have the same notice on their windshields.

Anyone have any experience with this company? Suggestions on what steps I might need to take next?
