Parking Citation – Municipal Courts Office

Hey all!

I got a parking citation and got towed (double whammy!) at discovery green over the weekend for being about 6 feet from a fire hydrant (I'm dumb and didn't know it had to be 15 ft). I've already paid the towing fee which was 300 and the citation is another 100. I was debating if I should try going to the office and see if they'd be willing to cut me some slack on the citation. I was one of the ones running the event at the time and needed to run in and planned to leave within the hour anyway.

Do yall think it is worth trying to ask for some leniency? and if so, how does the process look at the municipal courts? Do I just walk in and talk to someone?
