Parent taught driver’s education

I have a 15 year old that needs to start learning how to drive. He will be doing the classroom portion online.

I am wondering if he should do the behind the wheel portion as parent taught or in a traditional driving school. I don't think there was a parent taught option when I learned to drive ages ago. Do most teens do the parent taught route these days? Any opinions on this?
