Pandemic drives up alcohol use across America, survey finds

With people cooped up at home because of the pandemic, alcohol use has become a means for escape, a new study finds.

Research Triangle Institute International (RTI) has been polling adults across the country about their drinking habits since the beginning of the pandemic, quantifying the volumes of anecdotal evidence that people have been drinking more during the crisis.
