Overturning historic district laws

Someone reached out to me about a Texas Supreme Court hearing that would overturn historic districts in Houston (They specifically asked about the Heights)

Has anyone heard about this? I only saw 2-3 articles that covered it but wanted to know if anyone had better insight.

Also I get that everyone hates new townhomes on here so if we can avoid that, just trying to get some productive information on it.
