Out-of-towner question: Dave and busters-esque places to take teenaged boys?

From NJ, here for the weekend to see my gf’s parents/family. We want to take her nephews (~13 years old) on a trip/outing tomorrow. They like Dave and busters, but my girl friend doesn’t like that idea because they “just went there” and she wants it to be special. Anyone know of a local gem that might have fallen through the cracks of a google search? Her nephews are fairly new to Houston as well. Budget is not really a concern. Thanks in advance
