Orthodontist office in town that can help out

I'm having a bit of a dilemma regarding my braces. I'm near the end of my treatment and have power chains to my upper teeth to close a gap from an extraction. It's very nearly closed. My current orthodontist retired and a new one was suppose to take over this month but apparently had some emergency and everyone that was supposed to be seen has been rescheduled for mid January. The thing is that my power chain is fraying and really needs to replaced. I wanted to know if anyone can recommend an orthodontist that would see a person with existing braces and help out with replacing the power chain. I really don't want the time gap to set me back months if my teeth shift out of place while waiting see this new person in January.
