opinions on Stafford?

hello, I’m being moved to the Houston area for my job and I’m struggling to find housing that is less than $1100 in all the areas my coworkers have suggested in the actual city. I saw Stafford has some better options and was wondering if it is a relatively decent area to live? I’m a 22 year old female that will be living by myself so I am prioritizing looking for an area I will feel safe in.

If anyone else has any other suggestions for safe and affordable areas, please feel free to leave suggestions.
