opinions on meritage homes spring brook valley and david weekley brittmoore crossing

Hi r/houston

Would like to send a shoutout to the folks in my last posting about somerset green. Yall were very helpful.

I narrowed down my search to the two places mentioned in the subject. Part of the reason I like these 2 area is due to how close it is to City Center. May I please get this sub reddits opinion?

What I see is meritage homes in this area is constantly appreciating and it looks secluded enough to where you cant find it unless you went searching for it. Also, it has a suburb vibe but in the city, more space between you and your neighbors while having a backyard large enough to build a grill in the back, and are 2 story homes.

Brittmoore crossing without traffic is almost 5 min away from City Center. The homes are roughly the same cost and sq ft. but the bedrooms are larger, it is 3 stories (no options for elevators), the downside is going into the home site, it is surrounded by warehouse businesses.

Talking to both realtors they say that with the upcoming upgrade to City Center they see the value of the properties increasing. I am ok with the property tax rate/hoa of these two areas as long as I can keep it at 12k per year.
