Ongoing Foundation Issues After Repair—Need Advice on Next Steps

Bought a house about 20 years ago—not too old, but it’s been a foundation nightmare in recent years.

It started when a structural engineer evaluated the property and recommended a repair plan. One corner of the house had sunk a couple of inches, and the ring beam had generally settled as well. Based on the engineer’s plan, a foundation repair company added supports to the ring beam. The elevation numbers have been stable over the past year, so I thought things were looking up.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of it. The floor began to slope noticeably, and the exterior wall kept bowing. After many conversations between the engineer and the repair company, I ended up hiring a framer to address the bowing wall. The framer did some work to rebuild the exterior wall but advised me to consult another structural engineer. In the end, the repair felt more like a patch job, and the floor still slopes.

At this point, I have no idea what to do next. I’m looking for professional advice or recommendations from anyone who’s dealt with something similar. Where should I go from here?
