on vacation and going to a Texans have for the first time

Not from the area and am in town for the weekend. Scoured tickets from Groupon and thought it would be great to visit the stadium. Am a diehard build fan but will definitely be cheering for the home team.

Where do I park? Should I take metro to minimize the cost of parking and to help navigate traffic? What things do you wish you knew if it was your first time in the area?
