Old Kroger Off Aldine Mail Route
I have no idea why, but I've been thinking about this place lately. It was the grocery store my mom took me to as a kid in the mid 90's to early 2000's. I remember the VHS wall, the retro looking deli area, they had some comic books, and there was this one older man who worked the front end that would always try and talk to me and did a great donald duck impression. He was super friendly and I think he wore glasses. I mainly saw him pushing carts. I collect old media, so I'm reaching out to see if anyone has pictures of this place back in the day. If no pictures, do you remember going to this specific store and please share your memories too!
Also, remember the old garden ridge off 45? I just recently found some old pictures of that place too. Nothing like having a warm pretzel while you walk around a garden ridge. If you have any retro spots you remember around Houston, drop em down below.
