Who else is already tired of Jose Abreu? I realize what he has done in the past, but damn, he looks lost at the plate. And he is no where NEAR the first baseman Gurriel was. I'm sure he will start putting it all together and hit his RBI numbers eventually, but damn this is frustrating. Ain't it like 180 PA's without a HR now?

And yeah, I get why they re-signed Maldonado for his "veteran presence", but damn. Let the KIDS (Diaz, Lee) play!!!!

Next big, looming question is what happens to Dubon and Julks when Altuve and Brantley are back? I don't care WHAT those two are doing, Brantley will not be the odd man out. Nor would I want him to be. I'm glad those two are making the most of the playing time that they are getting, but I just don't see it lasting when the regulars start coming back.

Once McCormick is back, and with Julks, the best thing the 'Stros could do for Meyers career is to trade him. Someone would snatch him up and give him every day, or at least close to every day, playing time.
