Offensive line and off-season misconceptions.
I keep seeing this one over and over, and I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around a lot of fans saying we need to draft offensive line high or even early or at all.
Let's start at the beginning, in that, we already have huge investments at basically every spot. Be it either draft capital or contract wise.
At LT we have the highest paid tackle, and at RT we have a top 5 paid RT.
Same with RG, we have a ton of cap tied to Mason.
Then at Center/LG we have 3 high draft picks tied to those positions.
We had a TON of injuries at most of these positions, and the young ones will need to develop.
So, if I'm mistaken or just down right dumb, help me understand what we are to do? Do we just throw last years picks (or year before in KG's case) or eat a shitload of cap?
