Offensive Grades For Texans

QB F – Davis Mills was flat out struggled during the game. He kept missing his throws throughout the game and could only compete anything under 5 yards. His third and long check downs were infuriating to watch, especially on that final drive, and was a huge reason we only converted 2 3rd downs the entire game . He failed to improvise on broken plays. He is the least aggressive Quarterback in the league and I don't think it's close. Of course the Offensive Line and Play Calling weren't great either, but even when the receivers were getting open, and when he did have time in the pocket he was missing throws. Mills also failed once again to be clutch in the 4th quarter. The only positives I see is that he didn't have a single turnover through out the game, and he made right reads but his throws were off target.

HB B Damien Peirce struggled in the first quarter, mainly because of lack of adept blocking, but he showed flashes of we he could be during the other 3 quarters. He was at times; the only offense the Texans had. Unfortunately, he failed to break that 20+ carry mark and this time he probably should have.

WR C Brandon Cooks was good as always but it's hard to receive targets when you are getting double covered and when your QB refuses to throw past 10 plus yards. Nico Collins also played decently, he got some separation on the corners, but the other receivers failed miserably to get get open.

TE D OJ Howard was getting special attention this week after his two touchdown performance last week against the Colts. The Tight Ends simply didn't do much and I don't think they were really part of the game plan at all. Mills never really looked their ways either and they didn't get many Targets.

OL D Don't be fooled by that fact they only gave up 3 sacks, it could have been much worse if Mills decided not to throw away the ball or complete a checkdown every time he felt slight pressured. The group struggled to open holes in the run game especially during that first quarter. And the Broncos front 7 frequently got penetration especially during the 2nd half. The Pass blocking was Abysmal though Laremy Tunsil saves it from being a complete disaster.

Coaching C The Play calling wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible either, and the Offense only committed 2 penalties all game

Tomorrow are Defensive grades

Spoiler Alert; They get B's across the board
