odd Toyota Center concert seating question about extra kid

If I have 4 seats together to a packed concert in say section 115, but need a 5th (which I currently don't have) for a small 7yo kid, could I buy a seat in any other section I can find an available seat, but then just all 5 of us walk to section 115 and have the kid sit in my lap on the aisle seat? or would that be problematic with seating or entrance or section entrance? worst case could I just leave my seat for the extra kid and stand in back of the section?
