Odd request! Looking for Houston-area primary physician recommendations :)

Hey y’all! I know this might be an unusual post for this sub. Health insurance is finally kicking in and I’m (31F) searching for a new primary care physician. It’s been 5+ years since I’ve had any check-ups and I’ve got terrible health anxiety, so I’m really hoping to find a physician who is kind, patient, and won’t be dismissive of all of the things I’ll want to bring up.

In the past, I’ve had GPs and even gynecologists who would brush me off constantly and treat me like a quick get-in-get-out nobody, but I’m really wanting to get some comprehensive testing and evaluations done for various conditions at this age – so I would appreciate if you can recommend anyone you’ve had a stellar experience with. Someone that you trust and makes you feel cared for and taken seriously. Any recommendations for dermatologists and gynecologists welcome as well 🙂

Ideally, someone in Central or NW Houston would be great, but I’m willing to travel as far as I need for a great and caring physician. If you’re willing to provide the rec, I’ll do the work myself to find out if they take my insurance.
