O-Line

I’ve been looking at everything, and man I really can’t seem to understand the O-Line situation. Sideline reporters from mandatory practices said the 1st group group:

LT Cam Robison LG Laken Tomlinson C Jarrett Patterson RG Tytus Howard
RT Blake Fisher

got dominated, obviously we still have to wait till training camp but I seriously can’t see any light at the end of the tunnel. I seriously hope if it doesn’t pan it, that it looks bad enough to the point where the front office trades for a brick wall level guard, but teams don’t just give up true caliber lineman.

Lineman i’m still watching:

Blake Fisher: 2nd year, takes a step up as he starts to fill into his body and gets more comfortable. I’d also like to remind everyone he turned 22 on March 25th and declared super young for a lineman. We should expect a project, he wasn’t meant to even start like he did last year.

Trent Brown: Dudes coming off a torn patellar tendon injury he suffered week 3 off last year, but has been a solid tackle throughout his career and could make a resurgence.

Jake Andrews: Drafted in the 4th round in 2023 by the patriots he didn’t play because he was always injured, Texans offensive line Coach Cole Popovich was Jake Andrews offensive line coach at Troy University. Jake has been splitting center 1st string reps with Patterson so he’s a player to watch.

I’m just coping for a breakout by somebody at this point but I seriously just don’t think this O-Line group will be lifted up by some scheme, or better “just cause they have more grit”. Hopefully it pans out.
