November 4 election

We about a month away from the Oct 6 deadline to register to vote and about 2 months away from the next election. There are 17 Texas Constitutional amendments on the ballot along with some special elections. This will be the special election to fill Sylvester Turners seat for US Congressional District 18 in Harris County. Now is the time to verify your voter registration and start educating yourself on the Constitutional amendments. A couple of these look very sketchy to me and I need more time and research to understand them. Texas has always had terrible voter turnout and I think we can all see the results from our lack of participation.Please check your registration, set reminders to download the sample ballot in a couple of weeks, educate yourself on the issues and people on the ballot and go vote when the time comes!
