Not the best Valentine’s night I’ve ever had.

Been sitting in the living room, snuggling next to my cat, with no power since 7pm and not expected to come back up until 6:30 am at earliest (last I saw, but CenterPoint’s website is flaking out), taking shifts with my dad every four hours for starting the cars on 15min-on, 30min-off cycles so the radiators don’t bust. Three jackets. I don’t even own cold-weather pants to layer. My COVID mask the only thing warming my nose. Four blankets.

Hang in there, guys. We’ve got a few more days of this.
