Not sure what to think about this?

This happened less than two hours ago. I took my daughter (13 years old) to Lake Houston to do some fishing. Went to the Alexander Deussen park on the southwest side. Nice park, been there before. The park closes around 830 or in the summer. Harris county Deputies came through announcing the park was closing. As we were packing up our stuff a deputy came by, stopped near a boat launch and walked up to two cars….mine and the next one to it. He began to write stuff down and headed back to his cruiser. Not sure what was going on, but we walked to my truck and he approached the driver next to me and myself asking why we did not move our cars when we saw him writing us a ticket. He never stated who he was or why were getting tickets…but told us they would be in the mail and drove off. Apparently, we were parked in a no parking area.
