Northwest Houston country club property sold to Harris County Flood Control District

The Harris County Flood Control District has purchased Raveneaux Country Club to create a regional stormwater detention basin in the Champion Forest/Vintage Park area of northwest Houston.

The HCFCD paid nearly $11.5 million, the current appraised value, for the 27.63-acre property, according to the district’s website.
