Not going to lie…CJ looked very good today…And Davis stepped up…

DeMeco Ryans says it was very "eye-opening" how "on-it" C.J. Stroud was today in making the calls and having a handle on the offense this week.

CJ Stroud just went 3/4 on 7-v-7, hit Nico Collins on a 30+ pass down the left sideline on Cobi Francis.

Cameras down and it’s early but quick update. CJ Stroud is pushing the ball down the field on 7 on 7.

Texans OTA observations. • Rookie QB CJ Stroud ran with the 1s today. • Stroud Had a few deep completions during team and 7 on 7 to WR Nico Collins. Had a 40 yard bomb to Nico during 7 on 7. • during 2 min drill, Stroud drove the O into FG range and Fairbairn nailed it.

1 play in 7 on 7 by Stroud that moved me was He threw a wheel to Pierce but i think that was his second read as I think his eyes were set on another WR who ran an in breaking route but quickly saw he was double by the S and CB moved off it and floated it to DP. good processing
