No Mixing Salsa for Tacos!

My Hispanic/Latino/Latina friends of Houston. I had a debate with my coworkers on salsa (rojo & verde) for tacos.

One of them saw me adding in both salsas to my taco and pointed out what I’m doing isn’t the norm.

Apparently, you typically only use one salsa. I like red/rojo. I like green/verde as well. Why not have best of both worlds?

The only valid argument was “…because”. Please enlighten a fellow Asian friend.

And to clarify, I do it anyway and don’t really mind what they said. Just want to make this a fun and enlightening discussion.
