No Kill Shelter?

Hey r/houston, I've got a hail Mary request.

I don't live in the area anymore, but my sister has come across a litter of kittens in her area over the past few days. Apparently very sociable, I told her to adopt one if she can, and contact a no kill shelter in the area, since my city of 50,000 has a fantastic one.

I did a quick Google and it shows houston has zero no kill shelters. I understand why, houston is magnitudes larger than where I'm at, and it's difficult to find resources to support an operation like that.

I'm still a little disappointed by that. Do you all have any good resources or guidance to place this litter into a non kill shelter or a good pipeline to find them homes?
