Nighttime City Walk Locations

Hey everyone. I grew up in Houston in between Alief and Sugar Land but was always enamored with the urban parts of the city like Uptown and Downtown. My life has led me back here after some moving around, but I've been missing the perspective of being a pedestrian in a big city. It's far too easy for your world to shrink to your car and a handful of buildings here in Houston.

After living in big cities like LA and especially D.C., I have been wanting a place I can walk through to get that familiar feeling of "The Big Time" city.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I already have done Hermann Park quite a bit, and Discovery Green wasn't as appealing since Downtown is quite dead at night. It's okay if there isn't much, I know Houston is lacking in that area compared to aforementioned cities.

But I am open to being surprised!
