Nice group dinner out during convention

I live in Austin, the rest of our group of 7 is from around the country and their Houston experience has been limited to the convention center area. I want them to appreciate Houston more! We rely heavily on Phoenicia for breakfast and lunch when in town for our annual convention so will probably want something other than Middle Eastern. I’ve suggested Blue Nile Ethiopian and Shabu2, but would love more ideas.
