Newest Hardy Yards craft brewery keeps things local

Houston’s newest craft brewery is only minutes away from its oldest. Local Group Brewing — located at 1504 Chapman St., about half a mile from Saint Arnold Brewing Co. — will open Feb. 28. 

The 7,500-square-foot brewery is located in Houston’s Hardy Yards area, just north of downtown with a clear view of the downtown skyline from the patio. The brewery is helmed by Todd Donewar, Michael Steeves and James “Huggy Bear” Wolfe.
