Newcomer Inbound
Whats good y'all? I moved from Az to Tx about 4 years ago. I am was a lifelong Cardinals fan ever since I could understand football (the better part of 3 decades). It takes some longer than others but I have come to the realization that the Arizona Cardinals are and will always be a poverty franchise that will never stop causing me heartache and pain. We've broken up and I figure since I, much like the rest of the US, have a viceral hatred for anything Cowboys, I'm focusing my Sunday efforts to root for the Houston Texans.
With my life spent in the NFC West, I know nothing about the AFC team other than they are the closest NFL team to my house in SATX. I humbly ask for any infromation on outlets to follow, like reporters, You Tube pods, anything Houston Texans related so I can be brought up to speed and start becoming whatever the fans of the Texans call themselves (Cardinals = Red Sea) etc.
I bought tickets a while back for the Cardinals Texans Game in December and after this eye-opening epiphone, I was planning on wearing my Cardinals jersey and changing to a Houston Jersey at the stadium, like a phoenix rising from the ashes of its former self.
Thanks for any suggestions you may have on a newcomer to the Texans and I look forward to turning the page on a chapter of my life that is long overdue.
Fomer Cardinals fan,
AzTexan.
