New York City-based Van Leeuwen Ice Cream to open first Texas shop in Houston
New York City-based Van Leeuwen Ice Cream is opening its first Houston and first Texas store at 2565 Amherst St. in Rice Village next year.
The company, which sells over 30 flavors of dairy and nondairy ice cream, will occupy a 923-square-foot space. It’s set to open in the spring with a flavor celebrating its Texas expansion. Current flavors include Earl Grey, honeycomb and salted caramel plus oat milk or vegan varieties.
