NEW TO NFL & TEXANS

What up community, I'm new to NFL so I looked for the newest team that hasn't won a SB and here I am now. The reasoning behind picking a sports team this way is,

1. The newer the team, the easier it is to be a new fan.

2. I like picking teams that have NEVER made it to the championship match in their sport because I don't feel like I'm jumping on the bandwagon of any established championship winners, plus I love the feeling of being apart of the 1st championship win.

3. New teams tend to have less culture that you must learn in order to call yourself a "REAL" fan of said team.

Alright now I am an international fan, I've chosen the Texans, is their anything within the community that I should know? Like what are Texan fans called? And any basic fan knowledge, did we do good last season? TIA.
