New to Houston. What are some must-do activities for new comings to make friends?

Hey everyone! I’m M22 and moved to Texas for a new job after college. I’ve never been this far south in my life and it’s a big move for me. I like to keep myself busy by going out and meeting friends etc.

What are some things I can try (either classes, free activities, etc) to make more friends and experience Houston as a whole?
