New to H-Town – Stros game questions!?!

So my family and I relocated from New England after living there for 5 years and are originally from Atlanta. Unfortunately for me my son didn’t take an interest in baseball until last fall and since then has lived and breathed on the Diamond. After just 2 seasons (7 months of playing) he’s officially made his first allstar team. He so badly wants to see his first MLB game so I’m looking for some tips:

1) Best games to go to (be it weekends, weekday evenings, games with promos, etc?)

2) Best seats/Best bang for the buck – obviously with inflation rocking the nation money is tight but I still want him to be able to enjoy and not sit nosebleed

3) Best way to come across tickets – are the tickets offered by the Astros website the best or is it smarter to use a secondary source like seatgeek or similar?

I haven’t been to a game in a decade and that was in Atlanta so just want to make sure things haven’t changed too much and make sure I understand the ins and outs of Minute Maid!
