New resident tips

Just moved into an apartment right near the galleria mall dowtown(?), and I wanted to ask some questions.

Am I in downtown?

Is there anything here to do for cheap? I love to golf but memorial park is $100 for a tee time…

Any tips on navigating this area? I’m very overwhelmed coming from a small town and I need help with activities and food (I’m celiac and can’t have gluten).
