New norm in dating

So I'm new to the dating scene after being away for 6 years. I tried POF, Cupid, Coffe and Bagels, Tinder and now Facebook app. In my experience, all the digital apps try to extort you by nickel and diming you to pay more for supplying you more candiates or boosting your profile. Another factor is most women are fake (they never respond back) or they try and scam you. Anyone have the holy grail or secret sauce to meet real dating material?
