New Immigrant – Looking for tips on how to secure a job

I got my spousal green card approved and planning to move to Houston by next month. My wife is already there and I’m excited to start a new life in the US with her.

I’m from Sri Lanka and I had to resign from my job as they don’t allow anyone to work remotely due to company policies. So I’m in the job market, applying on LinkedIn and Indeed.

Have been applying for 2 weeks, but hardly getting any response. If you know any tips to secure a job before I arrive, please do share. Appreciate it 😊

Btw Im working as a Business Analyst | Product Owner with 8 years of experience. I would be okay with any similar related job in the tech industry. Have some programming experience with MERN stack as well.
