New home owner, property tax appraisal $185k over last year. Help!

Just received mail from HCAD stating my home appraised value as of Jan 1. We bought this home last year. The appraisal value is $185k over last year. We didn’t pay anywhere near what this bogus appraisal value is.

What are my options and what should be my next step? There’s a protest form included in the mailing but reading around this sub sounds like I should be having someone else do the protesting for me.
