New energy provider didn’t turn on power?

I switched energy providers today, and got a confirmation email that the new service was on, but when I got home just now all my power is off, and of course the provider's office is closed till tomorrow. I called centrepoint and they couldn't help, is there anything I can do? Or am I just out of luck till whenever they open up again tomorrow? Has this ever happened to anyone else?
