New Bachelor’s Degree Aimed at Helping to Fill Teacher Shortage
To help launch San Jacinto College’s second bachelor’s degree – a Bachelor of Applied Science in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education (BAS-ECE) – and meet a critical need throughout the region, Houston Endowment awarded San Jacinto College a grant of $1.5 million for a three-year period through 2026.
