Neighborhoods like Little 5 Points?

I just moved here a few months ago and I'm getting bored of my local area. I've been looking for things to do and I was hoping that some of you have been to little 5 in Atlanta and could point me in the direction of an area like that.

If you haven't been to little 5 Points, what I'm looking for is basically an area where you can day drink and walk around little shops that sell old clothes or random art or whatever. Bonus points if an old guy is playing trumpet or something like that.

Also I tried searching this but the only thing I could find was posts recommending neighborhoods to live in- I don't want that. I'm just bored.
