Needing apartment recs near Montrose

Hi all! I’ve found myself newly single and needing to move. I currently live in a townhome in the rice military/heights area and halved a 3,200 dollar rent with my ex. Obviously, I can’t pay that on my own, so I’ve got until the end of June to find a place. I’d still like to stay within 20 or so minutes of work (Montrose area). I’m a 24 year old female, so it’s important to me that I’m somewhere I feel safe. My absolute max would be 2,000. Any older, but well taken care of apartments or condos around my area? I’m a nurse, so living somewhere quiet is a big plus for working night shifts. I looked online at the Jackson hill apartments, just not sure what to think. They’re near my townhome, so the area is familiar, which I like. I’ve reached out to a realtor but nothing is looking promising yet. Any recommendations?
