Needing a location to park a blood drive bus in partnership with Harris County Democratic Party

I’m a volunteer with HCDP and we’re trying to host a blood drive called “Replace What We’ll Lose” in order to bring attention to the ways the abortion ban will affect our blood supply in our community. For example, blood loss from self induced abortions, from a doctor’s hesitancy to treat a miscarrying patient for fear of legal repercussions, from children being forced to give birth, etc.

Our only hang up is that Gulf Coast Regional will not let us host it at HCDP because it wants to “stay out of politics” and my university won’t let us have it there either for the same reason. Which is so disappointing, but I’m still going to try to make it happen.

If anyone owns or knows of a business that would be happy to get into politics and partner with us to make this happen, I’d be so grateful. Thanks.
