Need to replace breaker box – does $ 5,100 seem too high?

Really what the title says… our old 1800 sq. Ft. Home has a very old obsolete breaker box and I am wanting to replace it before we have any issues and install a back feed outlet. Does 5.1k seem to high for the replacement? Research online says yes, but I’m curious what other folks in Houston have paid to get a similar service done. Thanks!
