Need recommendations

So fellow Houstonians. I’m posting in hopes of some recommendations. Need a place/spot that is romantic, but not over the top. Also, not extremely crowded, and isn’t a restaurant or bar. Occasion: Meeting/Reconnecting with an old friend/flame after 28 years. Looking for a place where we can talk, and be somewhat close, maybe take a stroll. Any ideas for the date are appreciated as well. Time frame, late December. Not opposed to outdoors, but picnics are probably not happening this time of year. Thanks in advance!
